Reebok Classic x Face Stockholm
2014 – 2016
Reebok International Ltd., headquartered in Canton, MA, USA, is a leading worldwide designer, marketer and distributor of fitness and lifestyle footwear, apparel and equipment. In 2014, the Women’s Classic devision at Reebok reached out to Face Stockholm about collaborating on a line of sneakers. Face Stockholm, a Swedish cosmetics brand would partner with Reebok, using their makeup as inspiration for the color palette. The Partnership would officially launch with a F/W 2015 Collection with Actress Ashley Madekwe showcasing the collection. The success of this first collaboration encouraged a second S/S 2016 collection, followed by F/W 2016, S/S 2017 and F/W 2017. As the creative director at Face Stockholm from 2013 - 2016 I was a primary contributor to this partnership. I created the color palette’s for each collection with the help of company founder Gun Nowak. I also generated custom names and inspirational quotes for every shade in the collection, which were displayed in the sock liner of every sneaker. In our first F/W 2015 collection I wanted to create a hand-made, personalized feeling that would translate onto the sneaker. This lead me to create custom paint swatches which I also placed on 3 of the sneakers in this collection.
